Thank you I didn't know that. But the reason? Overirrigation like Aral Sea? Or due to expansion of Sahara and the climate change?
Those two are not mutually exclusive. But the former may be more prounounced, as the population of the region is several times larger, than it was in 20th century, which not only resulted in overirrigation but also severe overgrazing and deforestation around the lake.

My parents are from Kerala, although I have lived in the USA for over 50 years. A few years back, I took two different DNA tests and both confirm that I am 98% Dravidian of the subgroup Malayali. The remaining 2% was unknown east asian origins. Some Indians always speculate that they are ethnically mixed from other ethnic groups through foreign invasions, including Iranian, Greek, Syrian, etc. but in my case that was not the case.

Another nonsence biased Turkish history. How do you explain 300 proto Turkish words in Sumerian Language , 200 in ancient Hebrew, 200 in Ancient Greek, 300 in Ancient English...so the Turks were Aliens...Turks originated from Africa long before they come to Central Asia.

Very interesting how one language can sound so different throughout the ages compared to something like American English, for instance. I wonder if any Koreans even understood a single word, or if it just sounds like a completely foreign language to them.
Azerbaijani language was being spoken in modern armenian territories and karabakh from the period approx ~ 1600-1994. (Karabakh returned to speaking Azeri now)
